Welcome to Worldlits.com, the homepage of Dr. Emma Dawson
(PhD University of Nottingham).

Emma works at the intersection of postcolonial writing, pedagogy and the emergent field of World Englishes literature. Her study ‘Read Around’ (2008) addressed the teaching of World Englishes literature in schools in England. Emma is an editor at Critical Cultural and Communications Press (CCC Press, UK) and is currently editing a series of seven anthologies of new Anglophone writing. She is in post at the University of Keele
